Jesus Walks?

Kanye West engages in blasphemy.

UPDATE: Remember when Sean "P. Diddy" Combs did the same thing?

SECOND UPDATE: Jonah Goldberg argues that religious groups should not call for a boycott of Rolling Stone and/or Mr. West, as both entities will simply exploit the controversy to enhance their sales. (In fact, one major Catholic group has decided to hold their fire.) I don't think it's even worth the effort to attempt a boycott of Rolling Stone; however, I would like to see people of faith rise up to condemn Mr. West. Sadly, because of modern-day racial politics, white ministers really can't rip Mr. West, lest they be condemned by him as racists (i.e., he'll allege that they are surreptitiously opposed to seeing a black guy depicted as Jesus.) Therefore, it is incumbent upon black ministers (are you listening, T. D. Jakes?) to go after this idiot.

THIRD UPDATE: Brent Bozell on Kanye West.

FOURTH UPDATE: The Boston Globe on West's stupidity.
